Simone Guidarelli

A frequent contributor to Italian Glamour magazine, a consultant on fashion weeks, a trendsetter of positivity, a designer of wallpapers, a caring mentor, a grown-up child and the person responsible for one of my favourite professional shooting weeks. Meet Simone Guidarelli.

"Come on, let's take this seriously and have some fun" is how I can describe my experience of collaborating with Simone for a week on two shoots in Azerbaijan for Baku Magazine. By the end of the week I am thinking: "So you can get up at 4.30 am for 4 days in a row, work hard and still find yourself hysterically laughing while creating some of our favourite images?"
Recording this interview with whatever equipment we could organise on a short notice on a resort in the middle of the mountains, exhausted and deciding to reply in his native Italian, you can still see the size of this man's heart and professionalism with which he approaches to not only styling shoots, but also to responding to all the comments on his popular 'positivity moodboard' - instagram. Enjoy!

For me the best advice is to not look at what people are doing but to search for
answers inside of one's self as they are all in there.

I decided to make all of the content available for free to all of you, my dear freelancers, as you go on this journey of discovery and growth. It does, however, require time and resources. So, if you are finding my work useful and want to support me in creating more of such content — it will be much appreciated by me and (guess what?) — also by the freelancers that are helping me deliver it here. If you're not sure where to start — the price of a coffee, a lunch or a visit to a shrink are some of the benchmarks available to you.
"The circle of life" as one king said in a cartoon.

My sincere thanks for your support! Anton
